Definition

Tanger Med is Morocco's mega-port complex on the Strait of Gibraltar, the largest port in Africa and the Mediterranean. Operational since 2007, Tanger Med handles 9 million containers/year and includes: (1) Tanger Med 1 & 2 — container terminals, (2) Tanger Med 3 — under construction (2026), (3) Free zones — Tanger Free Zone, Tetouan Park, (4) Industrial platform — Renault, automotive, aerospace. For Harch Corp, Tanger Med offers strategic connectivity to Europe (14km) and free zone tax benefits for datacenter development.
