Renewable Energy
Renewable energy comes from natural sources that replenish — solar, wind, hydro, geothermal.
Definition
Renewable energy is energy generated from natural processes that are continuously replenished — solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, and biomass. For datacenters, renewable energy is critical for reducing carbon footprint. Morocco is a global leader in renewable energy, with the Noor Ouarzazate solar complex (580MW), the Tarfaya wind farm (300MW), and a target of 52% renewable electricity by 2030. Harch Corp powers its datacenters with 100% renewable energy through PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) with Moroccan solar and wind farms.
